본 연구는 ？？군단 그린캠프에 입소하는 교육생(멘티)과 과거 전문직에 종사했던 55세 이상 퇴직자(멘토)를 대상으로 실시한 멘토링 프로그램을 바탕으로 그린캠프 입소교육생을 위한 민？군협력 방안으로서의멘토링프로그램을 체계적으로 설계하고 효율적으로 운영하는 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 실제 프로그램을 기획하고 운영하면서 얻은 경험과 노하우를 제시하고자 하였고, 프로그램은 준비？실시？마무리 단계로 구분 하였다.
준비 단계는 그린캠프 입소교육생에 대한 기초 조사, 멘토링프로그램 내용 구체화, 홍보, 과거 전문직에종사했던 55세 이상 65세 미만의 지역주민 모집과 선발, 전문가 자문으로 구성하였고, 실시 단계에서는 집단프로그램(자기소개, 음식만들기), 문화체험, 사회봉사활동, 멘토 수퍼비전, 보수교육, 워크샵 등이 이루어졌고, 마무리 단계에서는 군과 함께하는 평가회를 실시하였다.
본 연구는 군 복무 부적응병사를 위한 프로그램을 계획하고 있는 군부대 또는 민간단체가 실질적으로참고할 수 있는 자료를 제공한다는 데 의의가 있다. 그리고 본 연구의 제안에 따라 멘토링프로그램을 설계？운영한다면 향후 군 복무부적응병사를 조기에 식별하여 조치할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 병영문화 개선에도유의미한 결과를 얻게 될 것이다.
The purpose of this research is to present a plan to systematically design and efficientlyoperate the Green Camp X-corps mentoring program from the findings of a survey conductedon entering trainee students (mentees) and retired professionals over 55 years old that haveprevious experience in the mentoring program, which is based on the Green Camp civil militaryoperations program. The program was divided into three phases: preparation, implementation,and completion. Acquired experience and know-how during planning and operation of the actualprogram will be presented. The preparation phase was constructed with: basic research forGreen camp’s admitted trainees, content of the materials for the mentoring program, publicrelations, and recruitment and selection of retired professionals between 55-65 years old thathave previous experience, and expert consultation. The implementation phase was formed withthings such as: group programs (e.g.self-introduction, food making), cultural experiences,community service activities, mentor supervisions, continuing education, and workshops. Thecompletion phase was implemented with an evaluation meeting alongside military personnel.
This study is to be significant in that it provides substantial referential data for military andprivate organizations that are planning programs for misfit soldiers in the military. In addition,if the mentoring program is designed and operated as suggested in the study, actions can becarried out from early identification of potential misfit military service members and there canbe significant benefits within the barracks culture.
