초록
활동보조서비스는 자립생활 이념을 실현하기 위한 중요한 제도로써 심신에 장애를 가지고 있는 사람들의 일상생활 유지를 위해서 반드시 필요한 서비스이다.
본 연구는 지역사회에서 자립생활을 하고 있는 장애인들에게 필수적인 서비스로 인식되고 있는 활동보조서비스의 이용현황, 이용 후 생활의 변화에 대한 조사분석을 통하여 활동보조서비스의 발전 방안에 대한 모색을 하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면 활동보조서비스는 장애인들에게 많은 생활변화를 가져오고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 활동보조서비스의 활성화를 위해서는 다음과 같은 과제의 해결이 필요하다. 첫째, 활동보조서비스의 양적 확대가 필요하다. 둘째, 활동보조서비스의 제도적 보완을 통한 이용자의 확대가 필요하다. 셋째, 전문인력의 양성이 필요하다. 넷째, 장애인당사자들에 대한 교육이 필요하다. 다섯째, 포괄적 지원이 이루어져야 한다. 여섯째, 홍보의 강화가 필요하다. 일곱째, 재정조달방안의 모색이 필요하다.
The Personal Assistance Service as an important institution to realized an ideology of independent living is to be essential for people with disabilities to keep up daily life.
This study proposes the direction of development for by analyzing the present situation of utilization, the change in life after Using the PAS which has been recognized to be essential for people with disabilities to carry on independent living in community. The PAS, which are based on the result of this study, has been resulted in a lot of the change in life. The revitalization for the PAS is needed to solve the tasks as follows: Firstly, it is necessary to an increase in quantity of the PAS. Secondly, Users of the PAS by complement the system must be expanded. Thirdly, professionals must be fostered. Fourthly, it is necessary to educate people with disabilities. Fifthly, comprehensive support must be achieved. Sixthly, the PAS must be publicized. Lastly, it is necessary to search for methods of raising financial resources.
