본 연구는 유아를 대상으로 대인갈등상황에서 사죄행위의 활용, 사죄행동의 진실성, 대인감정의 이해에 대해서 연령별, 남녀별의 차이에 대해서 조사하였다. 조사 방법은 유아 264명(만 3세 102명-남 48명, 여 54명; 만 5세 162명-남 35명, 여 127명)을 대상으로 개별적 면접방식으로 진행되었다. 연구 결과, 만 3세는 만 5세에 비해 사죄행동 표현의 빈도, 죄책감을 느끼는 정도, 대인갈등장면의 이해에 필요한 정보의 종합적 처리 능력이 상대적으로 낮게 나타났지만, 집단 내 검토 결과, 사죄행동을 문제해결전략으로 활용하고 있으며, 대인감정이해를 할 수 있는 인지능력도 갖고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
The purpose of the study is to examine the difference of age when it comes to preschoolers' apologies, behaviors in taking responsibility, and emotions in feeling guilty in the situation of interpersonal conflicts. This study is conducted by interviewing 264 preschoolers individually. The results have shown that 3 years old preschoolers generally had lower frequencies of responses in apologies, taking responsibility, and feeling guilty on their behavior than those of 5 years old preschoolers. Also, they had relatively a lower ability to deal with information that is needed for interpersonal conflicts in overall. However, 3 years old preschoolers had an ability to utilize apologies in interpersonal conflicts, and they also had a cognitive ability to understand other's feeling and give a sincere apology.
