본 연구는 보육교사의 인성이 직무스트레스 및 스트레스 대처유형에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보았다. 서울시 및 경기도 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 보육교사 242명이 연구에 참여하여 인간애, 긍정적 자아개념, 사회관계, 직무수행, 창의·인성으로 구성된 보육교사의 인성 척도와 직무스트레스 및 스트레스 대처유형 척도에 응답하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS18.0을 이용하여 Pearson적률 상관분석 및 단계적 투입법에 의한 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 보육교사의 인성 각 하위요인 중 긍정적 자아개념이 보육교사의 직무스트레스 중 원아들과의 활동, 대인관련, 개인관련, 그리고 직무스트레스 전체에 영향을 주는 변인으로 밝혀졌고, 창의인성은 업무관련, 행정적 지원, 경제적 안정, 그리고 직무스트레스 전체에 영향을 주는 변인으로 나타났다. 또한 인간애는 업무관련, 개인관련, 그리고 직무스트레스 전체에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 밝혀졌다. 그리고 보육교사의 인성 요인 중 긍정적 자아개념, 사회관계, 창의인성이 스트레스 대처유형 중 적극적 대처에 영향을 주는 변인으로 나타났다. 한편, 스트레스 대처유형 중 소극적 대처에 영향을 미치는 변인은 창의인성인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 보육교사의 인성교육 강화와 인성교육의 내용구성에 대한 논의가 제시되었다.
The Purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Childcare Teacher’s Personality on Teacher’s Job Stress and Stress Coping. A total 242 childcare teachers were participated and completed three questionnaires in Seoul and Gyeonggi. Personality self assessment scale consists of five areas, with humanity, positive self-concept, social relations, performance of teacher’s duties, and creative personality. And Teacher’s Job Stress scale and Stress Coping. Data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlations, stepwise multiple regressions by SPSS 18.0. According to the result, there were significant relationships among Childcare Teacher’s Personality, Teacher’s Job Stress, and Stress Coping. Next, humanity, positive self-concept, and creative personality were indicated effective variance on Teacher’s Job Stress. Finally, positive self-concept, social relations, and creative personality were indicated effective variance on Stress Coping. In particular, creative personality was indicated effective variance on in Stress Coping. Discussions included teacher’s personality education and personality education’s contents.
This study has a significance in some respects and leave positive implications for education and child care field. First, the Personality is made up the humanity, positive self-concept, social relations, performance of teacher’s duties, and creative personality. And there are the relation among each sub-factors, job stress and stress coping. Second, it is emphasized that the child care teacher training and program should be executed.
