본 연구의 목적은 재독 한인 광산노동자의 생애 이야기에 기초하여 이들의내러티브 정체성을 분석하는 것이다. 이에, 재독 한인 광산노동자 3인의 생애 이야기를 로젠탈의 내러티브-생애사 인터뷰 분석방법에 따라 재구성한 결과, 개인과 가족, 직업, 민족 커뮤니티 관련 정체성이 독일 이주 이전과 이후, 그리고 노년기를 중심으로 복잡한 양상을 띠며 구성되고 있는데, 이중 특히‘한인단체 리더나 멤버’ 등 민족 커뮤니티 관련 정체성이 이들의 생애 이야기에서 모두 강조되고 있고, 그 외 각 생애 이야기에 따라 ‘교육가’나 ‘ 유능한 여성의 지아비’ 혹은 ‘초국적 사업가’로서의 정체성도 각각 비중있게 논의되고 있음을 발견하였다. 이에, 이러한 연구결과에 의거하여 사회복지실천에 시사하는 함의를 논의하였다.
The research intends to reconstruct life stories of Korean mine workers in Germany focusing on narrative identities through Rosenthal’s biographical research methode. Three life stories were reconstructed and the following conclusions were drawn. In them were individual-related, family-related, and ethnic-related identities constructed in concordance with the following three phases: before migration, after migration, and old age. Among them, an ethnic community-related identity like ‘transnational Korean community leader or member’ was emphasized. And besides, ‘transnational educator’, ‘husband of a competent woman’ and ‘businessman’ were also emphasized on a life story by life story basis. Based on the research, some implications for social work practice were suggested.
