본 연구의 목적은 어린이 보건ㆍ안전체험실에서 운영하고 있는 교육프로그램의 교육적 효과성을 확인하기 위한 연구이다. 연구대상은 경기도 수원시에 위치한 어린이집 1곳의 6세반, 7세반 유아 각각 39명으로 총 78명이었다. 78명의 유아들은 인근 D대학에서 운영하고 있는 상설 「어린이 보건ㆍ안전 체험실」에서 보건ㆍ안전에 관한 유아 교육 프로그램을 체험교육으로 받았으며, 4회에 걸쳐 11개 영역의 학습이 이루어졌다. 연구결과에 의하면, 어린이 보건ㆍ안전 체험실에서 운영하고 있는 교육 프로그램은 놀이안전지식 획득과 안전지식 획득에 있어 유의한 교육 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으나 이 프로그램의 일반화를 위한 검증 결과, 즉 안전문제 해결사고능력에서는 유의한 교육적 효과가 거의 나타나지 않았으며, 교육 프로그램에 대한 유아의 교육만족도는 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study were to investigate the educational effects on child health and safety experience class. The subjects were 78 children who were selected from one educare center in Gyeonggi Province(39 six-year old children, 39 seven-year old children). And the subjects were made to act for four session in eleven safety areas. The results of this child health and safety experience class were checked twice by means of a post test, and were measured by the play-safety knowledge test, safety knowledge test, the safety problem-solving thinking test, self-complacency report test.
The result of this study could be summarized as follows; First, the rating of the play-safety knowledge on child health and safety experience class were found statistically significant between pre-and post-test sores on play-safety knowledge. Second, the rating of the safety knowledge on child health and safety experience class were found statistically significant between pre-and post-test sores on safety knowledge. Third, the rating of children"s safety problem-solving thinking ability on child health and safety experience class were not found statistically significant between pre-and post-test sores on children"s safety problem-solving thinking ability. Finally, a feeling of satisfaction on child health and safety experience class were found on a high level in a age.
