Analysis of Difficulty in Lyrics of Korea Traditional Nursery Rhyme and Application

본 연구는 한국 전래동요의 노랫말 난이도 분석을 통해 보육교사가 전래동요 활동의 계획 시 영？유아의 연령에 따라 적절한 난이도의 전래동요를 선정하기 위한 지침을 마련하고 아울러, 노랫말 난이도 교사 교육이 보육교사의 전래동요 교수효능감에 미치는 효과를 탐색해보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
1. 한국 전래동요의 노랫말(구성형식, 어휘 수) 난이도는 어떠한가?2. 노랫말 난이도 교사 교육이 보육교사의 전래동요 교수효능감에 어떠한 효과가 있는가?한국 전래동요 112곡을 선별한 후 ‘노랫말 난이도 지수 검사’ 도구를 활용하여 노랫말 난이도를 검사하였다. 또한 보육교사 20명을 대상으로 전래동요 난이도 지수 검사 결과에 관한 교사 교육을 실시하였고, 그 효과를 검증하기 위하여 t검증을 사용하였다. 이러한 절차와 방법으로 이루어진 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전래동요 노랫말의 난이도 검사 결과 구성형식과 어휘 수 난이도에서 Ⅰ, Ⅱ수준이 가장 많이 나타났다. 이를 통해 전래동요의 노랫말 난이도 지수가 영유아에게 적합한 수준이라는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 전래동요와 관련된 교사 교수효능감 전체점수에 있어서 사전-사후검사 간의 차이는 38.15로 노랫말 난이도 분석에 따른 교육 실시 이후에 유의미한 점수 상승이 있었다(t=-13.37, p<.01).
The purpose of this study is to analyze of difficulty in lyrics of Korea traditional nursery rhyme and to provide a guideline for early childhood teachers to select an appropriate level of nursery rhyme according to the children's age for the planning of nursery rhyme singing activity. The research is mainly focused on the following two questions.
1. What is the difficulty in lyrics of Korea traditional nursery rhyme?Firstly, what is the difficulty in lyrics factors(the number of vocabulary, a form of storytelling)?Secondly, what is the difficulty in lyrics overall?2. What is the application of the result of the difficulty test in lyrics of Korea traditional nursery rhyme?This research analyzed 112 nursery rhymes which appropriate for children. To analyze the degree of difficulty in lyrics of nursery rhymes, Kim's DDICS(Degree of Difficulty Index for Children's Songs) was used.
The results of the study are as follows:Firstly, The degree of difficulty in lyrics of groupⅡ is the highest one which is 42%, and it is followed by group Ⅰ and Ⅲ. It proves the difficulty in lyrics of nursery rhyme is appropriate for children, especially group Ⅰ has the 26% difficulty so it is suitable for infants.
Secondly, it provide a guideline for early childhood teachers to select an appropriate level of nursery rhyme according to the children's age for the planning of nursery rhyme.
