본 연구의 목적은 홀로된 남성노인의 성생활 영향을 분석하고 성생활 경험의 본질을 파악하여 노인복지정책에 어떻게 기여할 것인가 하는 것이다. 원주시에 거주하는 65세 이상의 노인으로서 본 연구의 취지에 동의한 홀로된 남성노인 6명을 심층면접을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 이 자료를 근거로 하여 질적 연구를 통해 범주화하고 분석하였다. 연구 질문은 ‘홀로된 남성노인의 성생활이 사회복지정책에 미치는 영향은 어떠한가? 이다. 자료를 분석한 결과 6개의 범주와 26개의 주제 그리고 49개의 구성된 의미들이 도출되었다. 본 연구 결과 홀로된 남성노인의 성생활은 기본적 욕구를 파트너와의 친밀성의 교류를 통해 자신의 존재 의미와 자아발전을 위해 창조적인 힘으로 작용하며 신뢰감과 기쁨을 획득하는 것으로 나타났다. 성생활은 정상적인 생활의 일부이며 선척적이라는 올바른 인식전환이 필요하며 활기찬 성생활을 하기 위하여 국가차원에서의 정책들에 대한 것을 고려해 볼 것을 제안한다.
The Purpose of this study was to investigate th impact of sexuality and identifying what matters are actually occurred single elderly men's sexual life in old age, How old age affects it.
The study has conducted by meetings aged man over 65 and by collecting date through in-depth interview of 6 seniors who are living in Won-ju, agreed with the poll, Based on the collected date of the site, the date was classified and analyzed with qualitative study. The question of study was 'How about the sexuality of single elderly men?" In-depth interview were done with 6 categories, 13themes and 23 formulated meaning on sexuality of the single elderly men were derived.
In conclusion, it was found from this study that the sexuality on single elderly men means the desire in physical, emotional and social dimension, And they obtain pleasure, a sense of confidence, and a creative power to develop themselves through their partners. It is suggested to consider sexuality as normal and natural aspects of life of elderly when sexuality health care providers plan for their care.
