초록
홀로된 노인이 다양한 문제들을 극복하고 성공적인 삶을 살 수 있도록 하는 적응유연성에 이성교제가 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 분석하며, 홀로된 노인의 적응유연성을 증진시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 홀로된 노인 304명을 대상으로 수집된 자료의 분석은 SPSS(PASW) 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 인구사회학적 특성에 따라 이성교제에 차이가 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 홀로된 노인의 인구사회학적 특성에 따라 적응유연성을 살펴보면 연령대, 종교, 생활비에 유의한 차이가 있음을 알 수 있다. 위계적 회귀분석의 결과를 보면 홀로된 노인의 이성교제의 필요성에 따라 적응유연성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 홀로된 노인들의 이성교제에 대한 인식개선, 이성교제 활성화를 위한 다양한 프로그램의 개발 등을 포함한 적응유연성 증진방안을 제시하였다.
The objective of this study is to identify the effect of dating on the single elderly people’s adaptation flexibility which helps them to overcome various problems to live a successful life and wants to suggest ways to increase the adaptation flexibility. To achieve this goal, 304 single elderly people who use the senior welfare centre in Seoul were researched in a form of a survey. For the collected data, the frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, and regression analysis were conducted via SPSS Software (PASW 18.0). It was shown that the socio-demographic characteristics affected their dating status. Looking at the resilience of the single elderly people considering their socio-demographic characteristics, it can be seen that the age, religion, and living expenses have a significant effect. With the experimental results as background, we want to suggest improving the general publics’view on single elderly people dating and development of various programs to energize dating within seniors as a way to improve the adaptation flexibility.
