한국인 시어머니의 의사소통과 태도에 대한 지각이 고부관계에 미치는 영향 - 농촌 다문화가정을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 농촌 다문화가정의 한국인 시어머니의 의사소통과 태도에 대한 고부의 지각이 고부관계에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 Y군에 거주하는 다문화가정 중 한국인 시어머니와 함께 동거하고 있으며 본 연구 참여를 수락한 한국인 시어머니와 외국인 며느리 70쌍 중 최종 59쌍에 대하여 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 설문조사 결과는 SPSS/WIN 프로그램 17.0을 이용하여 통계처리 하였으며, 그 결과, 한국인 시어머니의 의사소통과 태도에 대한 한국인 시어머니와 외국인 며느리의 지각은 서로 다른 것으로 나타났다. 한국인 시어머니가 지각하는 본인의 의사소통과 태도보다 외국인 며느리가 지각하는 한국인 시어머니의 의사소통과 태도가 더 부정적인 것으로 나타났으며, 이와 같은 지각 차이는 고부관계에 영향을 미칠 뿐 아니라 고부갈등의 원인이 되고 있다. 또한 한국인 시어머니의 의사소통과 태도에 대한 지각은 한국인 시어머니의 개인적 특성보다 외국인 며느리의 개인적 특성과 더 높은 상관관계가 있었다. 구체적으로 의사소통에 대한 지각은 외국인 며느리의 결혼기간, 종교, 자녀 수, 국적취득여부와 상관관계가 있었으며 태도에 대한 지각은 연령, 결혼기간, 자녀 수, 국적취득여부와 상관관계가 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 근거로 한국인 시어머니와 외국인 며느리의 고부갈등의 개선을 위해 첫째, 외국인 며느리를 위하여 입국초기 일정기간 동안의 정규 한국어교육 과정을 의무화하고 이에 대한 국가적 차원의 지원이 필요하다. 둘째, 외국인 며느리에 대한 올바른 이해를 위하여 즉각적인 통역지원과 적절한 가족지원？상담 프로그램이 지역사회를 중심으로 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 고부간의 갈등을 예방하기 위하여 행정단위별 찾아가는 맞춤형서비스 프로그램의 개발 및 적용이 필요하다.
The purpose of this study is to know the effect of correlation between perception of Korean mother-in-law and foreign daughter-in-law through the Korean mother-in-law's communication and attitude.
The subjects who are living with a Korean mother-in-law of multi-cultural families in Y area. 70 pairs of Korean mother-in-law and foreign daughter-in-law who accepted this study were surveyed with respect to the final 59 pairs. For analyzing results in this study, the statistical program, SPSS/WIN 17.0 is used.
As a result, it is a different perception of Korean mother-in-law and foreign daughter-in-law according to communication and attitude of Korean mother-in-law. Perception of foreign daughter-in-law is founded to be more negative than perception of Korean mother-in-law. Mutual perception differences infect not only influence but also conflict between Korean mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. There was a correlation with personal characteristics of foreign daughter-in-law than mother-in-law. The perception of communication and marriage duration, religion, number of children, nationality acquisition are correlated. Also the perception of attitude and age, marriage duration, number of children, nationality acquisition are correlated.
Based on the results of this study, in order to improve the relationship with Korean mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, First, regular Korean curriculum with national support is needed for foreign daughter-in-law as soon as coming to Korea. Second, based on correct understanding of the foreign daughter-in-law, immediate interpretation service, proper family support and counseling is needed from the perspective of the community. Third, it is required development and application of customized service program to visit for prevention of conflict between Korean mother-in-law and foreign daughter-in-law.
