한국사회 도시노인들의 삶의 질을 종합적으로 분석하기 위한 본 연구는 도시노인의 삶을 건강과 주거, 가족관계 및 사회관계, 여가활동의 제 영역들에 대한 객관적 지표와 욕구, 영역별 만족도 차원에서 각각 파악하고 관계성을 종합적으로 분석하였다.도시노인의 삶의 객관적 지표는 성별과 연령, 교육수준, 직업과 같은 인구사회학적 변인들에 따라 큰 차이를 나타내고 있으며, 노인의 삶의 욕구는 건강욕구, 가족 및 사회관계 욕구, 소득욕구, 여가활동 욕구 순이며, 노인의 삶의 제 영역별 만족도는 인구사회학적 변인들과 객관적지표 욕구에 의해 유의미한 영향을 받고 있으며, 삶의 종합적 만족도는 인구 사회학적 변인들을 비롯하여 건강과 소득, 주거, 가족 및 사회관계, 여가활동의 객관적 지표와 욕구, 주관적 만족도와 유의미한 정(+)의 상관관계를 전반적으로 가지고 있음이 확인되었다.그리고 본 연구는 도시노인의 삶의 질의 분석틀과 개념화, 측정방법은 향후의 노인분야 연구를 포함하여 삶의 질 연구에 방법론적으로 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 본 연구의 결과는 향후 우리나라의 노인복지정책의 기초 자료로서 충분한 가치를 가질 것으로 판단된다.
The aim of this study is to estimate and explain the urban elderly's quality of life in Korean society through analyzing comprehensively their health condition, housing, family relation and social relation in terms of the objective indicator, their desire and degree of satisfaction to all kinds of their activities in leasure hours.
From empirical data analysis this study found as follows. The objective indicator in the urban elderly's life quality shows wide divergence according to social factors such as the distinction of sex, age, education level and occupation. The priority of their life desire is ordered in health, family and social relation, income and activities in leasure hours, and the degree of satisfaction to their life area come under the meaningful being influenced on the social factors and the objective indicator, the degree of satisfaction to their life, the total satisfaction to their life has significantly constant correlations to the social factors and the objective indicator as well as health, income, housing, family and social relation, the objective indicator and desire of their activities in leasure hours, and the degree of their subjective satisfaction.
I expect that this study could make a contribution to formation and conceptualization of analysis frame to elderlies' life quality, And further the result of this study will have sufficient values in furnishing basic data for elderlies' welfare policies.
