본 연구의 목적은 국내 활동보조인의 교육성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악함으로써 활동보조서비스의 질적 향상을 위한 실천적 및 정책적 개선방안을 제언하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2009년 보건복지가족부의 장애인활동보조서비스 이용 및 공급 실태조사연구로 수집된 자료 가운데 활동보조인 양적조사 자료를 활용하였고, 다중회귀분석을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 활동보조인의 개인적 특성 가운데 월평균 가구소득과 이타적 동기 요인이, 교육기관 특성 가운데 목적설명의 명료성, 다양한 교육자료 및 매체활용 정도, 전용강의실 유무 및 자립생활센터 여부 요인이 교육성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 향후 활동보조서비스의 질적 향상에 필요한 실천적？정책적 개선방안을 제시하는데 있어서 중요한 기초 자료로 활용되어 질 것이다.
The Purpose of this study is to investigate the influential factors that predict training results of personal assistants. Using the data that collected by Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs, this study analysis quantitative data of personal assistants.
Among influential factors predicting the training results of personal assistants, higher monthly income and more altruistic motives were positive predictors of individual personality. Clearer explanation about training purpose, more various training materials, and in the case of exclusive classroom for personal assistants were positive predictors of training environment.
The results of this study will be applied in the future as an important basic data in suggesting practical and political reformation for qualitative improvement of Personal Assistance Service(PAS).
