본 연구는 사회복지실천론 과목의 교육을 위해 학생들을 사회복지기관에 배치하는 현장사례실습을 강의와 병행하고 그것이 어떠하였는지 학생들의 경험을 탐색하고자 하였다. 현장사례실습기간 중 실습이 어떻게 진행되는지에 관한 반구조적 설문지와 실습 후 실습평가지를 통해 학생들의 실습경험에 관한 자료를 수집하고 경험내용을 주제별로 정리하여 분석하는 질적연구방법을 사용하였다. 분석결과 경험내용은 5개 영역, 14개 중심 주제, 30개의 하위 주제로 분류되었다. 사례실습은 강의에서 배운 이론적 지식을 실천현장에 적용해 보며 실천기술을 연습하고 향상시키는데 도움이 된 것으로 나타났는데, 구체적으로는 관계형성, 면접, 사회복지실천과정, 사회복지사의 역할, 지역사회자원활용 면에서였다. 현장실습에 영향을 미치는 요인은 오리엔테이션, 수퍼비전, 담당교수의 지원, 강의？실습병행으로 파악되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로, 사례실습을 사회복지실천교육에 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 방안으로 학생중심의 기관매칭, 적절한 사례제공, 오리엔테이션체계 개발, 교수-실습지도자와의 협력강화, 실습과 강의통합 운영을 제안하였다.
This study intended to explore how the BSW students experienced a field practice utilized in Social Work Practice class in university. 46 sophomore students were placed in 16 social work agencies for the field practice with a case. A qualitative study method was used to analyze the feedback data from the students. Data was analyzed focusing on the subjects/issues students experienced while participating field practice and 5 areas, 14 subjects, and 30 sub-subject(experiences) were identified. Students experiences showed that the field practice was helpful in enhancing their social work practice skills, especially relationship development, interviewing, process of social work intervention, role of social worker, and utilization of community resources. Orientation, supervision by field supervisor, support by class instructor, and integration of class and field were identified as influencing factors. Based upon the study results, to better utilize the use of field practice in social work practice education, several suggestions were presented.
