Influences of parental intrusiveness over their children’s aggression and mediated effect of resilience

본 연구는 부모의 과잉간섭이 청소년 자녀의 공격성 미치는 영향을 검증하고 자아탄력성이 이를 매개하는지를 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 한국청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 ‘한국아동 청소년패널조사(Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey: KCYPS)’의초등학교 4학년 패널 조사 중 7차년도(2016년) 자료를 분석하였다. 본 패널조사에서 조사된 사례 수는 2,378명이었으나, 실제 분석은 남자 1,063명, 여자 943명의 총 1,979명을 분석 대상으로 사용 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 부모의 과잉간섭에 대한 청소년의 인식이 공격성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 구체적으로 부모의 과잉간섭이 높을수록 청소년의 공격성이 높아지는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 부모의 과잉간섭은 자아탄력성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났는데, 부모의 과잉간섭이 높을수록 자아탄력성 낮아짐을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 부모의 과잉간섭과 청소년의 공격성간의 관계에서 자아탄력성은 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 청소년의 공격성을 낮추기 위한 부모의 과잉간섭에 대한 적절한 대응방안과 후속연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.
This study is to verify influences of parental intrusiveness over their children’s aggression and identify mediated effect of resilience. To do the study, the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey; KCYPS conducted by the Korean youth policy institute is analyzed, which is the seventh year of survey using the four year of Elementary students. Originally the panel survey cases were 2,378, however 1,979 ones were actually used, 1,063 boys and 943 girls. The result shows that there exists a strong relationship between parental intrusiveness and their children’s aggression, specifically the more parents intrude their children the more they become aggressive.
Parental intrusiveness also has an impact on their children’s level of resilience, identified that more parents’ intruding into their children results in lower level of resilience of their children. Lastly, resilience has a partial mediated effect on the relationship between parental intrusiveness and their children’s aggression. The study tells that appropriate countermeasures against parental intrusiveness should be introduced to lessen their children’s level of aggression and suggests following researches.
